Red Devils ace lauds team's 'chemistry'
Owen Hargreaves has labelled Sir Alex Ferguson's current crop of Manchester United stars as 'unique'.
Although he was part of the Bayern Munich side that won the 2001 UEFA Champions League final against Valencia, the midfielder thinks his current team-mates surpasses that historic team.
The Canadian-born England international believes that along with having a multi-talented side, Ferguson's troops are also a very close-knit group of players.
"I have never been in a team with such a great group of players - not only talent-wise but personality-wise. It is very unique what we have here," he said.
Special
"You look at the players who are not even in the squad, the camaraderie is really special.
"I have learned a lot this season about people and personalities. That's why we are in the position we are in because of this chemistry.
"The squad is in the position to achieve things again and again. That's the goal."
Time to move
Hargreaves loved every minute of his time in the Bundesliga with Bayern, although he is thrilled with his decision to switch to Old Trafford last summer.
"I just thought I'd been through everything I could possibly go through in Munich," he continued. "I had a fabulous time there.
"I just thought that, having won the league four times, the cup three times, the Champions League once, it was a good time to move on.
"I was at a great age and thought United was the best place for me."
