Revista found that this season's Pichichi, Mallorca's Daniel Guiza, is keeping his feet on the ground.
Pichichi winner puts his success down to work, work, work
Daniel Guiza may have won the Golden Boot in Spain, but he is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.
The Real Mallorca striker has shot to prominence this season by topping the Pichichi scoring charts with 27 goals in 37 La Liga games.
That is more than David Villa; more than Luis Fabiano and more than Raul - and unlike the Real Madrid skipper, Guiza is going to the European Championship finals having been named in the Spanish squad.
And the man himself puts his rapid rise to fame down one thing - hard work.
"The season started well," he told
Revista de la Liga. "I managed to score in the first game of the season and build from there. I was lucky enough to get that goal in the game against Levante and I always find when you work hard, the goals keep coming.
"I never thought about being top scorer, my focus was helping my team-mates. My aim is always to give my best in every game and then see how things go from there.
"If you work hard and apply yourself, anything's possible.
"It (the Golden Boot) is more than a source of confidence, it's a reward for all the hard work we have put in over the season. I dedicate it to my team-mates."
Speculation
Whether those same Mallorca team-mates will be supplying the chances for him next season remains to be seen.
Guiza's scoring exploits have of course alerted La Liga's big guns and Real Madrid and Barcelona have been mentioned in despatches.
But the man himself, from the humbler surroundings of Jerez in southern Spain, brushed aside the speculation, insisting all he is concerned with is this summer's task - and staying at the Estadio Son Moix.
"It's a great reward for all the hard work I have put in this season," he said. "It's a great dream for all Spanish players, to put on that red shirt and I'm very happy to be called up. Now let's see if we can go there and win it.
"I've never thought about leaving Mallorca. I always knew I wanted to come back here and bury the ghost of my first spell at the club.
"The truth is at the moment I am not thinking about bigger clubs, I still have three years left on my contract that I hope to fulfil."
Mallorca though, do not have the financial clout of the big two, or even Spain's second-tier sides.
And that, says Revista's Guillem Balague, means Guiza will be going in the summer, whether he wants to or not - possiblty even to the Premier League.
"He's 27 and he's been approached by Manchester City and he's had two meetings with Barcelona, but I think Barca are thinking along the lines of David Villa, so Guiza will go to the next level - like Valencia," he said.
"He's reached a level at Mallorca where the club says 'let's try and get some money for him'. Mallorca is a selling club."
