Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest have offered Nathan Tyson a new deal to ward off interest from other clubs. The Championship-bound side have tabled a two-year extension to keep the highly-rated striker at the City Ground. Tyson has a year to run on his contract and recently admitted he was unsure of his long-term future at the club. A number of Premier League and Championship sides are thought to be trailing Tyson and are monitoring his situaton at Forest. Forest boss Colin Calderwood is keen to keep hold of Tyson after he played an instrumental role in helping Forest win promotion from League One.
