In-demand Ajax ace considers future
Klaas Jan Huntelaar has admitted Euro 2008 could provide him with the perfect stage to put himself in the shop window.
The Dutch international is already one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe following his goalscoring exploits for Ajax and an impressive Euro 2008 campaign with Holland could increase interest in his services.
Huntelaar is widely expected to leave Ajax this summer after they failed to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League after losing in the play-offs to FC Twente.
The likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old and Huntelaar admits he could do his chances of a move to a top club no harm at all if he impresses at this summer's finals in Austria and Switzerland.
"It is a nice tournament to show yourself," Huntelaar told
Sky Sports News.
"Maybe when the coach lets me play I will show myself and we will see what happens.
"The most important thing is the team does well."
