Free-agent could return to England
Paris Saint Germain defender Bernard Mendy could join Fulham on a free transfer this summer.
Mendy, who spent a loan spell with Bolton in the 2002/03 season, is understood to be a target of Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson as he bids to reinforce his squad.
Fulham narrowly avoided Premier League relegation on the final day of the 2007/08 season and Hodgson has already started planning for next term.
Mendy, 26, impressed at left-back for PSG last season as the club reached the Coupe de France final.
However, Fulham will face competition from newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Nantes, who are understood to have made first contact with PSG.
