Chairman sets minimum £29m price-tag
Chairman Angel Torres has placed a 40million to 50million euros (£29m-£39m) price-tag on Getafe after putting the Primera Liga outfit up for sale.
Torres bought Getafe in 2001 when the Madrid-based club were playing in the Secunda Division.
Getafe have been operating at a profit for the past five years, but Torres is now keen to look for alternative investment opportunities.
"We want to sell because we've been here quite a long time," said Torres.
Several UK and Middle Eastern groups are understood to have already shown interest and London-based investment bank Seymour Pierce are looking for a buyer.
