Holland forward Ryan Babel will miss Euro 2008 after suffering an ankle injury in training.
Scans have shown that Babel tore ligaments in his ankle during a training session on Saturday morning.
The Dutch Football Association have confirmed that the Liverpool man will be sidelined for several weeks with the injury.
Babel will now be forced to sit out the upcoming tournament, although Dutch coach Marco van Basten has yet to nominate a replacement.
