Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick has been charged over a motorway crash that killed two children. McCormick, 24, has been charged on two counts of causing death by dangerous driving. He has also been charged with one count of driving with excess alcohol and one count of driving with no insurance, Staffordshire Police said. The M6 crash, which occurred on Saturday morning, left two brothers aged 15 and eight dead, and their father seriously injured. A statement on the Plymouth's official website read: "As stated earlier, the club feels it would be inappropriate to make any comment at this stage regarding the nature of an incident that occurred on the M6 on Saturday morning. "However, Plymouth Argyle sends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the two young boys who lost their lives. "They are very much in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time."
