Pompey shot-stopper tops Glovers' wish-list
Yeovil admit they will have to be 'patient' in their pursuit of Portsmouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Glovers are looking for a new shot-stopper following the departure of Steve Mildenhall and they are optimistic they will be able to bring Begovic back to Huish Park.
Begovic impressed Yeovil on a two-month loan spell in March and club chief executive Martyn Starnes has confirmed talks are taking place with Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp.
"We are interested in getting Asmir Begovic back," Starnes told Yeovil's
official website.
"It is no secret that we were very impressed with Asmir when he was here last season but we might have to be patient if we want to get him back.
"Our aim is to build a young and vibrant team that can not only sustain our position in this league but take us forward over the next two or three seasons."
