Former Poland international Adam Ledwon has been found dead at his house at the age of 34. Ledwon made 18 appearances for Poland and also played for Bayer Leverkusen, Austria Vienna and Sturm Graz at club level. He was registered with Austria Kaernten and it was team-mate Patrick Wolf who reportedly discovered his body after he had unexpectedly missed a friendly match against Brueckl on Wednesday evening. Police in the Austrian city of Klagenfurt have confirmed he was found dead but have not immediately revealed more details. "We are shocked," Austria Kaernten manager Michael Heiden said. "A suicide note was found but not translated yet. We await the inquiries." Ledwon, was working as a commentator for Polsat television at Euro 2008, where Poland play Austria in Vienna later on Thursday. Polish football association spokesman Zbigniew Kozminski added: "This is very sad news, especially at such a moment. "The players have heard it. Some among them, those older, remember him, played with him."
