Eagles midfielder set for summer switch

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock expects Ben Watson to leave the club this summer. The talented midfielder, who has risen through the youth ranks at Selhurst Park, is understood to be a transfer target for Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers. The former England U21 international still has a year to run on his current contract with the Eagles, but Warnock does not expect the youngster to be part of his plans next season.

Different

"We have offered Ben a new contract and a very good contract but my first impressions are that he wants to try something different," Warnock told the Kingston Borough Guardian. "He has gone away on holiday now and will let us know when he gets back. "But to me it seemed like he is ready for a move."
