Midfielder fails to agree terms
Wolves have failed in their attempts to lure Derby midfielder David Jones to Molineux.
The midfielder found first-team opportunities hard to come by in the Rams' disastrous 2007/08 Premier League campaign and looks unlikely to feature in Paul Jewell's plans next season.
The former Manchester United man, who helped Derby clinch promotion to the top flight in 2007, failed to agree terms with their Championship rivals, despite the two clubs having already agreed a fee.
"We agreed a deal with Wolves for David Jones but he's rejected it," Jewell told the
Evening Telegraph.
"As far as I'm aware, I don't think they could agree terms."
