Norway international to join Ligue 1 side

Norway international Fredrik Stromstad has agreed a three-year deal with Ligue 1 club Le Mans. The IK Start midfielder, who has made 15 appearances for his country, is set to travel to France for a medical. An undisclosed fee has been agreed between Le Mans and Start, but Stromstad will remain in his homeland until 6th July. IK Start administrative director Jan Oddvar Skisland said: "Le Mans and Start have agreed and the board of Start have ratified the transfer. "The reason is that we had promised Fredrik this. I know that this is a dream he had and now he will join a good club in France." Stromstad told fvn.no: "This is terrific for me, but it's a bit sad and special to leave Start. "This is a big chance, a dream come true."
