Striker signs three-year contract at the Valley
Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of non-league hot shot Stuart Fleetwood on a three-year deal.
Fleetwood has joined the Championship club from Forest Green Rovers, where he was out of contract.
The striker was in prolific form for Forest Green last season and was voted the Blue Square Premier Player of the Year.
He had been chased by a clutch of League clubs and turned down a move to Crewe Alexandra in the January transfer window.
Brentford, Chester City and newly-promoted Exeter City were all believed to be keen to sign the 22-year-old this summer.
However, Addicks boss Alan Pardew has won the battle to secure the former Wales Under 21 international's signature.
Forest Green will receive a 'developmental' compensation fee from Charlton, with the figure to be decided by a tribunal.
