Former Cottagers boss 'flattered' at Les Bleus link
Former Fulham boss Jean Tigana has refused to rule out the possibility of coaching France should Raymond Domenech be axed.
Although Domenech guided Les Bleus to the World Cup final just two years ago, they nation failed to qualify from the 'group of death' this summer at Euro 2008.
France finished the tournament winless and managed just one goal, which came in their 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Marco van Basten's Holland.
Domenech's position is to be reviewed by the French Football Federation following their dismal display with an announcement to follow on 3rd July.
Tigana's name is once again in the frame and, despite rejecting the post on two previous occasions, he is 'flattered' by the latest link.
"I was once a candidate but my name always gets mentioned," he told
L'Equipe.
"It's flattering, but now I have nothing to say. I know I refused the post twice."
