Agent claims City have made offer for Argentine

Manchester City have tabled a bid for Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito, according to the player's agent. Reports emanating from Spain suggest City have made a firm offer to sign the Argentine international. Zaragoza are resigned to losing Milito and their other top stars this summer following their relegation from La Liga last season. Milito has been continually linked with a move to England and City could now be ready to offer the 29-year-old the chance to ply his trade in the Premier League. New City boss Mark Hughes is keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season and is believed to be a big admirer of Milito. Milito's agent Adrian Faija says City are the only club to make an offer for Milito. "Manchester City are the only club to have placed a bid with my clients' employers," Faija told Marca.
