Denmark international moves to Ligue 1
Ligue 1 newcomers FC Nantes have held off fierce competition to snap up FC Copenhagen captain Michael Gravgaard.
The 30-year-old was believed to be close to a switch to the Premier League last summer, but the Danish giants rejected offers from two unnamed clubs.
The Denmark international travelled to France on Sunday for a medical and to sign a contract with the Canaries.
"In the end, we got an offer we could not refuse and since Michael at the same time had a strong desire to move, there was no alternative," said Copenhagen sports director Carsten J Jensen.
The transfer fee for Gravgaard is expected to be around four million euros (£3.15million).
