Peterborough United have agreed a deal to sign Sergio Torres from Wycombe Wanderers.
Torres will officially finalise his switch to London Road on Monday when Posh return from a pre-season trip to Marbella.
The midfielder has spent three years at Wycombe and admits it will be a wrench to leave the League Two club.
He told the club's
official website: "It was a very hard decision to make. I'm sad to leave because I've had three unbelievable years at Wycombe and every single person I know at the club has been so nice to me.

"But on the other hand, I'm happy because it's what I wanted to do ever since I came to this country - to play at the highest level possible."
Wycombe boss Peter Taylor conceded he could not deny Torres the chance to step up to League One with Peterborough.
Taylor said: "I don't want to lose a good player and the fans' favourite, but you have to take into consideration the player's wishes.
"He's been terrific for the football club, but he wanted to go to Peterborough to play at a higher level."
The Argentinian becomes the third player to leave Wycombe for Peterborough in the past 12 months, with Tom Williams and Russell Martin also linking up with Darren Ferguson's side.
