Slavia Prague defender Marek Suchy has claimed interest from both sides of the border.

Czech defender keen to make move

Slavia Prague defender Marek Suchy has claimed a number of clubs from both sides of the border have enquired as to his services. The 20-year-old is thought to have attracted the attention of both Everton and Rangers following a series of commanding displays in the Czech Republic. Suchy claims his agent Pavel Vandas has engaged in discussions in both England and Scotland, while also intimating Aston Villa and Newcastle are monitoring his situation. "The possibility of leaving is still there," he told Deniksport. "On Monday I spoke with Mr Vandas and he told me the interest is still there. "But Slavia have not received a specific offer. That's the problem." When quizzed on whether Everton and Rangers are leading the chase for his signature, Suchy replied: "No, also other clubs from the Premier League - Newcastle and Aston Villa."
