Several clubs looking to land Brazilian

A host of clubs are chasing Brazilian midfielder Douglas Rinaldi, skysports.com can confirm. Rinaldi has just left Watford after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. Rinaldi moved to England in January 2007 and he impressed hugely in the Premier League, which persuaded boss Aidy Boothroyd to make the deal permanent that summer. However, following relegation to the Championship, Rinaldi did not feature once. Now the midfielder is keen to kick-start his career and a host of clubs are understood to be chasing him with teams from Scotland and the Championship are keen to take a look at him. The likes of Birmingham, Charlton, Plymouth and Swansea are all believed to be keen, while Edinburgh duo Hibernian and Hearts are also showing an interest.
