Defender impresses Scunthorpe
Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins has hinted he may be prepared to offer Michael Lea a full-time contract.
The former Manchester United defender has been training with the club for the past fortnight and impressed during the Irons' 1-1 friendly draw with Doncaster on Saturday.
Adkins admits that the 20-year-old has played himself into his thoughts and is planning on holding talks with the youngster in the next few days concerning his immediate future.
"He did very well against Doncaster," said Adkins. "I'm delighted with him.
"We've had him for two weeks now and we said we'd get through the Doncaster game and sit down and have a chat.
"I'm very happy with what we've seen at this moment in time."
