Andrei Arshavin could remain with Zenit St Petersburg as no 'satisfactory' offers have yet been made.
Star player wants Barca move
Star player Andrei Arshavin could remain with Zenit St Petersburg next term after the Russian side revealed it has not received any 'satisfactory' offers for midfielder.
The Uefa Cup winners put a €30million (£23.8million) price tag on the player who lit up the Euro 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland.
The 27-year-old wants to join Barcelona but the Catalans have only offered €15million (£11.9million).
Zenit team general director Maxim Mitrofanov said in a brief statement posted on the club's
website on Monday that Arshavin was to have determined by 1st July which team he would go to, if the terms were satisfactory to Zenit.
The date was later extended to 15th July but "as of today, 21st July, there have been no proposals that would be of interest to the player and the club," Mitrofanov said in the statement.
Arshavin's possible transfer to Barcelona is in doubt as the Spanish giants have just clinched the signing of Alexander Hleb from Arsenal following the sale of Ronaldinho to AC Milan.
He has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea but recently denied travelling to England for talks.
