Midfielder joins Huddersfield on two-year deal

Former Blackpool midfielder Michael Flynn has joined Huddersfield on a free transfer. Flynn was released by the Seasiders at the end of last season and has been on the lookout for a new club over the summer. He has now linked up with Stan Ternent's Terriers after agreeing a two-year deal and passing a medical. Ternent is excited to have captured the 27-year-old and believes he should be successful in League One. "He's a player that I've tracked and he's been on my hit list," Ternent told Huddersfield's official website. "He is an attacking midfielder with Championship experience and a proven record at getting goals from midfield. "I signed him from Wigan when I was at Gillingham and I know he will make the squad stronger and add more competition for places."
