Hungarian Krisztian Timar has committed his future to Plymouth by agreeing a new three-year contract with the club.
The defender enjoyed a four-month loan spell with the Championship outfit before signing in a £75,000 transfer from Hungarian club Ferencvaros in May 2007.
While his Hungarian compatriots Akos Buzsaky and Peter Halmosi have left the club over the past year, Timar does not wish to follow them out of the door, despite being linked with several Championship sides, including Charlton.

Instead, he is happy to settle in Plymouth with his wife Dorisz, who is expecting their first child in November.
The centre-back, who will sign his new deal following the Pilgrims' pre-season training camp in Austria, told the
Plymouth Evening Herald: "Me and my wife are very happy.
"She's pregnant now and we are planning to be in Plymouth in the next few years."
"I'm very happy with my new contract. Hopefully, this season we can keep improving - that's why I want to stay here.
"Every year we are closer and closer to the play-offs, and that's why I want to stay here."
Argle will play Romanian club Petrolul Ploiesti in Laufen, South East Germany, on Friday before returning home on Saturday.
Head guard
Timar could play in the game after missing training because a groin strain, but if he does feature, he will have wear a head guard following an operation in May on multiple fractures to his skull which he suffered in the 1-0 defeat at Wolves.
"I'm getting better. I have had a little groin problem, but I think it's just tiredness," said Timar. "My forehead is absolutely fine. I really don't want to wear a head guard, but I have to.
"I will wear it for the next two weeks and after I can play without it."
Meanwhile, trialists Flavien Belson, Leandre Griffit and Nebojsa Kovacevic, who played in the 1-1 draw against Greuther Furth on Tuesday, will not be offered contracts by Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock.
