Derby County boss Paul Jewell believes new signing Paul Green is a 'real find' who can emulate the success of Jimmy Bullard.
Jewell has compared energetic midfielder Green, who he signed from Doncaster Rovers, with the Premier League star.
He bought Bullard from Peterborough United for £275,000 while Wigan boss in January 2003.
Bullard was then instrumental in guiding the Latics to the top flight and in allowing them to stay there, and he repeated that success in helping new club Fulham survive last term.
Jewell believes new boy Green can have a similar impact for the Rams, telling the
Derby Evening Telegraph: "Paul is a good player.
"He reminds me a lot of Jimmy Bullard, who I had at Wigan. Like Jimmy, Paul has got loads of energy, great enthusiasm and good technique.
"I think he will be a real find for us."
