Nolberto Solano feels he can still play in the Premier League, but is considering a move to LA.

Peruvian to decide on LA Galaxy offer

Nolberto Solano believes he is still capable of playing in the Premier League, but the midfielder could make a move to Los Angeles Galaxy within the next week. The Peru international was released by West Ham in June, but he has returned to pre-season training with the Hammers in order to maintain his fitness. And Solano, 33, is optimistic he will secure a new contract at a top-flight club ahead of the start of the new season on 16th August. "My first thing is to try and stay in the Premier League," Solano told Sky Sports News. "I still believe I can play one more year. "But I have to wait. You have to think of the family and what is good for them."

Gullit talks

Solano, though, could accept an offer from LA Galaxy manager Ruud Gullit within the next seven days after holding talks with his former Newcastle boss. "I spoke to him (Gullit) a couple of weeks ago and he is very interesting," added Solano. "I am happy that he tried to get me to move over there and give me another opportunity to play at a good level of football. "We will see. This week will be crucial for me."
