Leeds midfielder Robert Bayly has been handed the chance to earn a summer move to Darlington.
The Elland Road youngster has been given permission to take part in the Quakers' remaining pre-season fixtures to give Dave Penney a chance to assess him.
Quakers boss Penney has already brought in five new faces this summer but is looking for further new signings before the start of the season.
"I'd like to bring two more in at least, we're a bit light on numbers I think," he told
Look North.
"There is a good crop of first-year kids too so there's food for thought."
