Coventry striker looks to earn move to Rugby Park
Kilmarnock have given Coventry City striker Donovan Simmonds the chance to secure a loan move.
Simmonds is currently training with the SPL club and could feature in Saturday's friendly against Coventry.
The Championship side are keen for the youngster to gain further first-team experience and Killie boss Jim Jefferies is considering a deal.
"I spoke with Steve Kean and he helped us out," said Jefferies in the
Daily Record.
"Coventry are thinking of letting him go out on loan as they feel it would benefit him.
"We gave Donovan 45 minutes against QPR to see what he was like and he's certainly got pace to burn.
"We'll let him train with us and we'll see how he does. There is a possibility he may turn out against Coventry on Saturday."
