Ghana international midfielder close to Ewood Park deal
Blackburn Rovers are set to sign Anthony Annan, according to the Ghana international's current club IK Start.
The midfielder is set to undergo a trial at Ewood Park as manager Paul Ince inspects his capabilities.
But Start sporting director Svein Mathisen claims the deal is already close to completion and that Blackburn only want to double check Annan's ability.
The 22-year-old was on loan at Stabakk during the spring and is set to begin his trial at Blackburn on Monday.
"It is not an ordinary trial he (Annan) will have at Blackburn." Mathisen told

"They (Blackburn) just want to confirm what they have already seen.
"It's bad to see a quality player leave Norway. For our part, it is a matter of finances."
