Ledesma determined to dump out Gers
Kaunas star Rafael Ledesma has warned Rangers he will be back to his best for their crucial UEFA Champions League qualifier.
Rangers face Kaunas in Lithuania on Tuesday night with the tie delicately balanced after a goalless draw at Ibrox.
Ledesma concedes he was far from his best in the first leg, but he is determined to help Kaunas record a famous result and dump Rangers out of Europe.
"In Glasgow I was not the real Ledesma because of injury," Ledesma told
skysports.com. "Now I intend to be better and to offer my help for the success of Kaunas.
Decisive match
"For the club this is a tremendous and decisive match. To eliminate Rangers is to fulfil the big dream and to obtain a lot of morale for the following round.
"I am always optmistic but the squad is convinced that this match will be very hard.
"Now we need to score and to keep a clean sheet. A really perfect match."
Ledesma admits a Kaunas win would send shockwaves throughout Europe as they look to eliminate last season's Uefa Cup finalists.
"I dream about scoring the winner in each match but this time it is more important. The Champions League is the most important competition in the world and our success would be a worldwide echo.
"I am prepared to fight to the maximum against the Scottish defenders and I desire to finish the day with satisfaction."
