Emmerson Boyce confesses it is not yet certain that he will sign a new contract at Wigan.
Defender's contract negotiations continue
Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce confesses it is not yet certain that he will put pen-to-paper on a new contract at the JJB Stadium.
Boyce, 28, has been holding negotiations with the Latics throughout the summer and it was expected he would agree new terms when the club returned from their pre-season training camp in Austria.
The centre-back still has two years left to run on the deal he signed following his arrival from Crystal Palace in August 2006.
However, Boyce has revealed that a fresh agreement has yet to be reached and has hinted that he has not made a decision on his future.
"We're in contract talks now - it's been dragging on since the end of last season. We'll have to see how it goes," Boyce told
Wigan Today.
