Bayern Munich defender Lucio says he hopes that he will be staying at the Allianz Arena for years to come.
The Brazilian stopper had been the centre of much transfer speculation earlier this year, but he now says that he is looking forward to continuing his career with the Bundesliga champions.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man says he is happy with life in Munich and would be willing to extend his stay at the club.
"I no longer have any thoughts about a move," Lucio told
SportBild.
"First you hear that one club wants you and then another, but at the end of the day there was nothing there to back up the reports.
Rumours
"I don't want to pay any more attention to these rumours. I am staying at Bayern.
"The club provides me with the structure that I have always wanted. I want to be around when Bayern grows.
"At the moment I would say that I am tending towards extending my contract beyond 2010."
