United keeper to make decision in December
Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has revealed he will review his future in December.
The 37-year-old Dutchman, who retired from international football after Euro 2008, will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Van der Sar joined United from Fulham in 2005 and has enjoyed terrific success during his time at the club, lifting two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League and League Cup.
The experienced shot-stopper has not yet ruled out playing beyond 2009, and he has explained he will make a decision on his future at the end of the year.
Outlook
Van der Sar told
Voetbal International: "I do not know [if it is my final year]. I look at it from year to year.
"If everyone is happy, okay. But if you are faced with injuries and you miss long periods, then you have a different outlook.
"I could play a very steady season and do well or the club might no longer be satisfied.
"In December I will look to see how things are - that's a good time to decide."
