Villarreal have announced that midfielder Josico has joined Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Former Spain coach Luis Aragones took charge of Fenerbahce earlier in the summer and he has already brought in Dani Guiza from Real Madrid.
Aragones has now swooped for Josico, with the player putting pen-to-paper on a contract on Friday.
"Villarreal and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement on the transfer of Josico on a two-year contract," the Spanish club confirmed.
Josico joined Villarreal in 2002 but he fell down the pecking order under Manuel Pellegrini last season.
