Moroccan defender looking forward to Champions League football

Badr El Kaddouri, who was linked with Aston Villa, has decided to stay with Dynamo Kiev for now. The Moroccan international defender believes competing with the Ukrainian outfit in the UEFA Champions League will advertise his assets to the best managers in the game. Kiev will take on Arsenal, Porto and Fenerbahce in Group G of Europe's elite competition and El Kaddouri is relishing the prospect. The 27-year-old, who has been at Kiev since 2002, told skysports.com: "I have decided to stay for some months in Kiev, my contract will expire in June 2010.

Big tournament

"There is the small story of the Champions League, which excites me so much. It is a big tournament and to play in it is very interesting." He added: "I will use the Champions League to convince some great managers (of my abilities)."
