Scottish Premier League new-boys Hamilton have boosted their squad with the addition of defender Martin Canning on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old was released from his contract with Hibernian on Monday and the Accies acted quickly to capture Canning until the end of the season.
The former Ross County man joined Hibs in February on a 16-month deal after being released by Gretna and made 13 appearances for the Ediburgh outfit.
The Accies' goalkeeping coach Brian Potter has also registered as a player to provide cover for Tomas Cerny or Sean Murdoch.
