Bolton winger sets sights on first XI place
Riga Mustapha feels he is ready to impress at Bolton Wanderers as he approaches full fitness.
Bolton boss Gary Megson praised the
Dutch winger for his performance in Saturday's 0-0 draw with West Brom and Riga says there is more to come.
The Holland Under 21 international endured a pay dispute with former club Levante which affected his pre-season preparations.
However, Riga feels he is now fit enough to start games and is hopeful he will be given the opportunity by Megson.
"I am getting in shape and I thought my performance was okay on Saturday," Riga told Bolton's
official website.
"There are a lot of games to come and I started quite late with my preparations. But I think I am now ready to start games if the coach picks me.
"It is his decision but I feel I am now ready to do my best to win games with the team."
