Goalkeeper struggling with thigh problem

Lee Harrison should replace injured Ran Kadoch in the Barnet side as Morecambe are without Matt Blinkhorn. Kadoch sustained a thigh strain in last Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Lincoln and is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks, handing veteran Harrison the chance to impress Bees boss Paul Fairclough. Fairclough has been boosted by the re-signing of Nicky Nicolau and the midfielder is in the squad to face the Shrimps, but defender Jeremy de Magalhaes (groin) is now facing up to the prospect of another six weeks on the sidelines. Ashley Carew suffered a jarred knee against the Imps but should be fit, while fellow midfielder Nicky Deverdics is expected to miss the Morecambe game due to a groin problem. John O'Flynn (hamstring) also remains ruled out.

Morecambe news

Striker Blinkhorn has been forced to undergo a cartilage operation after playing through the pain barrier for the last 18 months and will now be sidelined for up to a month. Manager Sammy McIlroy will also have to contend with the enforced absence of defender Michael Howard, who has been ruled out of the trip to Underhill because of the back injury he sustained in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Oldham. Midfielder Paul Lloyd also remains sidelined with a niggling ankle injury. However, McIlroy will have new loan signing Dan Smith available and he could make his debut in the Shrimps midfield after the promising 19-year-old completed his one-month loan move from Plymouth this week.
