China international faces improper conduct charge
Sheffield United defender Sun Jihai has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following his sending off in the Blades' 1-1 draw with Coventry City.
Sun has been charged for his reaction to the red card he received for a challenge on Coventry's Michael Mifsud at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.
The China international has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge, which will be dealt by the FA's regulatory commission next Tuesday.
Former Manchester City full-back Sun has already been warned that he faces a fight to regain his place following suspension by Blades boss Kevin Blackwell.
