A thunderous long-range strike from Alex Rhodes ensured Rotherham took all three points in the 1-0 win over Luton - another team on minus points.
Both sides conspired to miss a string of chances before Rhodes netted the decisive goal on the hour mark.
Luton's best chance fell to Michael Spillane in the opening period, but he was unable to hit the target with his header.
In the second half Rotherham's Nick Fenton missed a similar opportunity, before Rhodes broke the deadlock in style, cracking a stunning 35-yard strike past Dean Brill in the visitors' goal.
