Giovani dos Santos is determined to play his part in ensuring Tottenham Hotspur enjoy a successful future.
The 19-year-old Mexico international signed a five-year deal with Spurs from Barcelona in the summer.
He has featured in four of the club's five Premier League matches this season; however Juande Ramos' charges have struggled during the early stages of the campaign.
They currently lie at the foot of the table and have yet to record a league victory, but Giovani fully believes the side is heading in the right direction.
He told Tottenham's official magazine
Hotspur: "I'm looking for opportunities to grow as a player and I saw Spurs as the kind of place where I could really develop.
"I did have other offers, but Spurs was the club I keenly wanted to come to because I know this team is really developing.
"I believe this club has a big, big future and I want to play my part in that. Now I'm here, I'm really happy."
