Keeper expected to miss out for England
Paul Robinson is a doubt for England's World Cup qualifying game against Kazakhstan on 11th October because of injury.
The Blackburn goalkeeper has been ruled out for two weeks by his club because of a calf injury sustained in the first half of the midweek Carling Cup defeat of Everton.
Robinson has been ruled out of this weekend's trip to Newcastle giving Jason Brown a chance to impress.
The injury means Robinson is unlikely to figure in the Wembley clash on 11th October - and also calls into question his availability for the match in Belarus four days later.
The news is a blow for Fabio Capello as he looks to build on the win over Croatia earlier this month.
