Red Devils ace pleased team-mate has opened account
Cristiano Ronaldo is pleased Dimitar Berbatov has opened his account for Manchester United following his brace against Aalborg.
The £30.75million capture from Spurs had gone three games for The Red Devils without finding the back of the net, leading some to question his big-money acquisition.
However, that duck was ended on Tuesday night as the classy Bulgarian bagged in brace in United 3-0 UEFA Champions League win in Denmark.
"It's good. It's good for Berba to score his first goals for Manchester," Ronaldo told
Sky Sports.
"He played good. It's always good for the forwards to score to keep the confidence high."
Poor finishing
Despite the resounding victory United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes their finishing was not up to scratch.
However, the experienced Scottish tactician is not getting too down after picking up four points in their opening Group E matches.
"There was some good football at times. As I said we were a bit careless in our finishing," commented Ferguson.
"Anyway it's a good foundation to go into the next two matches."
