Alexander Hleb has been included in the Belarus squad to face England in their World Cup qualifier.

Injury may rule out Barcelona man

Former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb has been included in the Belarus squad to face England in their World Cup qualifier later this month. However, Hleb, who joined Barcelona in the summer, is unlikely to face Fabio Capello's side in Minsk on 15th October as he is currently sidelined with an ankle injury. Belarus have won one of their opening two games in Group Six but are yet to play at home and were only beaten in Ukraine by an injury-time penalty from Andriy Shevchenko. England play Kazakhstan at Wembley in their third group game on 11th October before going to Minsk.
