Bhoys full-back hoping for run of game
Celtic defender Mark Wilson has told manager Gordon Strachan he much prefers to play on the right side of The Bhoys defence than the left.
The 24-year-old has been deployed at left-back this term with mixed results, but with Andreas Hinkel currently on the sidelines he is back to his favoured right-sided position.
Wilson is happy with his form at the moment, having helped Celtic secure a 4-0 win over Hamilton, and hopes he can now get a consistent run of games under Strachan.
"I don't mind playing left-back but I have been playing at right-back for a few games now and I much prefer staying on the right, which I did against Accies," said Wilson.
Stay in the team
"I'm happy with the way it worked out and hopefully I can stay in the team.
"Andreas Hinkel is injured but I know there is going to come a time when he will get fit again and fighting for the right-back place.
"There will be times when I will have to sit out again but I am enjoying myself at the moment."
