Skipper signs on at Caley

Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Grant Munro has signed a new contract with the SPL club. The 28-year-old will now remain with Caley until at least the summer of 2011 after extending his current deal by a further two years. The defender joined his hometown club at an early age before rising through the youth ranks and making his first team debut in January 1999. He has gone on to make almost 250 appearances and is delighted to have been handed the opportunity to commit his long-term future to the top flight outfit. "I am really pleased to have agreed a new contract with the club," he told the club's official website. "To be playing for my hometown team has been like a dream come true and my career has gone better than I could have imagined."
