Wales face toughest test of campaign

Wales coach John Toshack is remaining positive ahead of his side's crucial World Cup qualifier against Germany on Wednesday. Toshack's side head into the game in Monchengladbach sitting in second place in Group 4, just a point behind the Germans, as they look to end their 50-year wait to reach the World Cup finals. While acknowledging the match is the sternest test for his side, Toshack believes they can draw confidence on their stalemate in Germany last year.

Most difficult

The former Real Madrid boss said: "This one is the most difficult of the 10 games. "But my players know everything that you can know about Germany and if they use that they will achieve something. "We got a 0-0 draw in Frankfurt last November and it would be great if we could repeat that." Wales will be led by West Ham striker Craig Bellamy, who played 80 minutes in the 2-0 win over Liechtenstein in Cardiff on Saturday as he returns from injury.
Relishing opportunity
The 29-year-old is relishing the opportunity of taking on the Euro 2008 runners-up, saying: "I enjoy playing the big teams. "But if we are not 100 per cent focused it will be a hard evening for us."
