Playmaker insists he is happy at Torino

Alessandro Rosina insists he is happy to stay at Torino and has denied receiving any phone calls from England. The Italian playmaker was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend amid doubts about his Torino future. Rosina has clashed with the club's hierarchy on several occasions in the past and was mooted for a January move to the Premier League. However, the 24-year-old says he has no plans to quit his current club and is focused on returning from an injury.

No calls

"I've not had any telephone calls from England," Rosina told the Italian media in response to rumours of interest from Spurs. "My mind is focused only on Torino. In any case, at this moment in time an overseas experience is not something I am interested in. "I am focused on Torino and making my return to fitness. All the rest of it just passes me by." Rosina, who signed a contract extension through to 2011 last year, has previously been linked with Arsenal, Everton and Manchester City.
