Midfielder not worried about facing holders

Scott Brown insists Celtic will not be afraid of facing an expensively-assembled Manchester United team in the UEFA Champions League. Celtic have yet to win away from home in the Champions League and travel to the holders on Tuesday night in search of a first success in Group E. Brown is aware of the talent at United's disposal, with the Bhoys relative paupers in the transfer market when compared to their British rivals. However, Scotland midfielder Brown believes the financial muscle of United will have no bearing on the outcome of the eagerly-awaited encounter. "Money is not everything," said Brown in the Daily Record. "That has been shown by teams in the past.

Hard game

"Porto went out and won the Champions League under Jose Mourinho and he didn't spend as much money as half of the other teams in Europe. "It comes down to who plays well on the day and it's 11 vs 11. "We've played so many games and don't have the best away record in the world, but if we can get a point or three points, we'll be delighted. "We played the European champions - AC Milan - at this stage last year and we did okay against them away from home and beat them at home. Hopefully, we can carry that on. "Champions League is Champions League and it does not matter where you are playing - be it England, Spain, Italy or wherever - it is going to be a hard game. "You just have to go out and give 110 per cent."
