Gillingham midfielder and former captain Andrew Crofts is being touted around Championship and League One clubs.
The Chatham born 24-year-old is a graduate of the Gillingham youth system and holds the club record for most international caps by a Gills player.
The Welshman has been capped 12 times by his country, the last coming in a 2-0 loss to the Netherlands in June 2008.
As recently as 2006/07 Crofts was named as Gillingham's Player of the Year and was rewarded by being given the captains armband in 2007/08.
The midfielder has been kept out of the starting line-up by the impressive form of midfield duo Mark Bentley and Curtis Weston.
Gillingham have now confirmed on their
official website that Crofts' name is to be circulated to Championship and League One teams with a view to arranging a loan move or permanent transfer.
Crofts has made 165 league appearances for the Gills scoring 17 goals in the process.
